He is the Founder and Managing Trustee of the Lung Care Foundation and currently serves as the Chairman of the Institute of Chest Surgery, Chest Onco-Surgery & Lung Transplantation, and the Chairman of the Medanta Robotic Institute at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. With over 35 years of public service experience at AIIMS, Dr. Kumar has also held significant positions at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
